The U.S. Capitol is closest (5 miles) to Reagan National Airport (DCA) and is easily accessible by metro or taxi/rideshare. For those not familiar with the area, Dulles International Airport (IAD) is much further afield (26 miles away) and can take up to an hour in traffic to get to the U.S. Capitol. The metro now goes to IAD as well.
Hotel Information:
There are a number of hotel options within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the Dirksen Senate Building. Please note that there is no official hotel for this event. Some nearby options are listed below, but many hotels around the DC and Arlington area connect easily to the Capitol via metro.
