2011 symposium

The CEBCP – Campbell Collaboration Joint Symposium on Evidence-Based Policy will be held at ENTERPRISE HALL and SCIENCE & TECH II BUILDINGS at the George Mason University Fairfax campus. Accommodations are available at the Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel.


Venues:

On day one (August 15) the CEBCP Leadership Training on Evidence-Based Policing will take place inEnterprise Hall 178. Registration will be on the first floor of Enterprise Hall. The Campbell Methods Workshops will take place in Science and Technology II (Introductory Methods Workshop in Science and Tech II, Room 7; Advanced Methods Workshop in Science and Tech II, Room 9) Registration will be in the ground floor lobby of Science and Tech II.

Day 2 (August 16) will begin with registration for all panels in the ground floor lobby of Enterprise Hall. Morning presentations will take place in Enterprise Hall and Science and Technology II. The awards luncheon will take place in the Student Union Building II (SUB II) ballroom. All afternoon presentations will take place in Enterprise Hall. CEBCP staff will help direct attendees to symposium rooms and to the awards luncheon.


Accommodations:

Accommodations are available at the Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel which is located on campus and a short walk or shuttle ride to the symposium venues. Directions to the Mason Inn are available here.


Directions, Maps, Parking:

Signs will also be available to direct you from Lot A to symposium registration.

Attendees should park in Lot A which is located a short walk to symposium venues. Parking in Lot A is free and you do not need a special ticket to park there. Parking is complimentary at the Mason Inn for guests staying there.

Directions to George Mason University are available here. We recommend parking in the circled area of Lot A on this map to be closest to the symposium venues. Follow the signs from Lot A to the symposium venues.


Metro:

George Mason offers a free shuttle from the Vienna Metro station on the Orange line to the Shenandoah (formerly Sandy Creek) Parking Garage, which is a short walk from symposium venues. Click here for more information on the shuttle schedule.
