Taryn Zastrow, Ph.D.
Post Doctoral Fellow
Taryn Zastrow received her Ph.D. in Criminology, Law and Society from George Mason University in 2024. Her research focuses on place-based criminology, crime analysis, community violence & health, policing, and crime & public policy. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as a research assistant for the National Policing Institute from 2016-2018. She graduated with her B.A. in Psychology in 2016 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her M.A. in Criminology, Law and Society in 2021 from George Mason University.
