Lakia Faison, M.S.

Research Assistant

Lakia Faison is a doctoral student in the Criminology, Law and Society program at George Mason University. In 2019, she earned her B.A. in Psychology and her certificate in Crime Analysis from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee. She then received her M.S. in Psychology from Arizona State University in 2021. Throughout her educational career, she has primarily researched the causes and effects of wrongful convictions such as coercive interrogation practices and the stigmatization of exonerees, respectively.
