Kristen is a second-year MA student in the Criminology, Law & Society department. She serves as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy (CEBCP), where she primarily works for Dr. Yang. Kristen received her BA in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Arkansas in 2023. Her research interests include victimization, police legitimacy, and prison reentry, and she has previously managed a study on barriers to accessing mental health resources for ethnic minorities.
