Congressional Briefing: “Violence and Violence Prevention”

Venue:

The Congressional Briefing will take place at the Rayburn House Office Building, The Gold Room (room 2168), on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The building’s location is southwest of the Capitol, bounded by Independence Ave., South Capitol St., First S., and C St., S.W. The main entrance is on Independence Avenue. Metro:

Attendees are strongly encouraged to use Metro to attend the Congressional Briefing. The closest station is CAPITOL SOUTH metro station (Orange/Blue/Silver lines). The next closest station is UNION STATION  (Red lines). Union Station also has parking for those who are driving in.

 

Please note that security is very tight at the Rayburn House Building. Visitors will be required to go through a security checkpoint, and may not be allowed to bring in food, drink, weapons, or large bags into the building. All bags are subject to search.
