The 2017 CEBCP Symposium will take place on June 26, 2017 at GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY’S ARLINGTON CAMPUS, Founder’s Hall (3351 Fairfax Drive, Arlington VA 22201). The theme will be “Key Issues in Evidence-Based Crime Policy.” This year’s exciting agenda will cover a number of topics and research findings including:

  • Body worn camera research
  • Community crime prevention
  • Mental health and the criminal justice system
  • Evidence-based policing and translation
  • School safety
  • License plate readers research
  • Research across the criminal justice system
  • Police legitimacy

At the symposium, the 2017 Evidence-Based Policing Hall of Fame inductions and the Distinguished Achievement Award in Evidence-Based Crime Policy will be presented (deadline for award nominations is February 10). We welcome everyone to this free event!
